What do the "3P's" in eco3P stand for?
 

Mission Statement: eco3P is dedicated to the creation and demonstration of the linked principal of the triple bottom line of people (social), planet (environmental), & profit (economic).

People: To operate the company in a way that recognizes the central role that business plays in the structure of society by initiating innovative ways to improve the quality of life of people, animals, and the environment.

Planet:  To reduce our environmental footprint through sustainable practices, waste reduction, and by charitable contributions to various non-profits that focus on the preservation of the planet.

Profit: To distribute and sell the finest quality of ethical and cruelty free related products in a wide variety of categories and operate the company on a sound financial basis of profitable growth increasing value and financial rewards for our merchants and shareholders.

Sustainability is fully integrated into the strategy and operations of our online vegan marketplace. As we look to economic recovery following one of the most tumultuous periods in human history, there has perhaps never been a better moment to change how business is done and together we can now start to rebuild the economy in a sustainable way.

Verification and Transparency: All products that are listed on eco3P‘s marketplace by its community of sellers have at least one green scorecard attribute.  Additionally eco3P mandates that each seller read the new 2011-12 FTC Green Guides prior to listing a product and then clearly state how that product relates to the guidelines.

eco3P also researches its sellers website and conducts regular interviews to obtain current information about their products and third party certifications that they hold.  Eco3P keeps tracks of labor issues in the countries where our sellers source their products.
