We a young family
company located on
Vancouver Island, BC
Canada. Our mission is to
become the leader in
sustainable business
practices. We strive in
creating awareness and
making a difference one
step at a time. In
fashion, especially in
the making of shoes, it
involves highly process
chemicals as well as the
over use of leather, both
a huge environmental and
ethical detriment. As we
care about our
environment and have a
huge passion for animals,
we have created a brand
of shoes called Colourful
Grass that is stylish,
trendy, comfortable and
affordable.
What we do to live greener:
As inviduals and a
young family, every
little thing we do is to
bring us closer to our
mission in creating a
sustainable future with
life on the planet for
our future generations.
We plant trees, recycle
and reuse everything we
can at work and in our
home life. Colourful
Grass is the center of
our souls as inviduals!
Here is a few exemples of
some of our everyday
routine invovled: walk
instead of driving when
possible, we refill our
ink cartridges instead of
purchasing new ones, we
compost, we do not use
plastic bags and use our
carry on bags when
shopping, we purchase
organic and eco friendly
products to name a
few.
