Ecosex.ca was founded
by Kim and Amy Sedgwick,
two sisters passionate
about women's
reproductive and sexual
health. They love to help
consumers make informed
choices, and they're
known for their fun,
non-nonsense approach to
sexuality.
We work hard to ensure
all the products we carry
are free from parabens,
phthalates,
petrochemicals and other
harmful ingredients. In
2009 we wrote a letter to
the Minister of Health
with the help of the
Honorable Carolyn Bennett
asking that phthalates be
banned from sex toys. Our
request was denied, but
the issue was discussed
in all the major Canadian
news outlets, including
the Globe and Mail, CTV,
Toronto Star, and
Maclean's.
