years. I also make some
sales to small local
shops. I recently decided
to start branching out

crafted tinctures

Every tincture I sell is
from a batch that myself
or someone in my family
will use as well. I will
try to make a variety of
bottle sizes available,
but most of them will be
1 or 2 ounce bottles of
the specified
tincture.

While many people take
capsule forms of herbal
remedies frequently, the
benefits of tinctures are
substantially better. The
bio-availability of
tinctures is very high in
comparison to
capsule/pill forms,
because unlike pills
tinctures don't rely on
digestion to break them
down. Tinctures are
readily absorbed by the
body, beginning their
work in the bloodstream
almost as soon as they
enter the mouth. Which is
a very significant
benefit. Note also
that:

Tinctures can be applied
externally as well as
internally.

Tinctures can be stored
for long periods of time,
even years, without loss
of effectiveness.

Tinctures can be taken
relatively accurately
because they are
administered in
drops.
Batches are made small
to maintain a high
quality, lovingly
prepared product. Unless
stated in a listing,
tinctures do not come
with droppers. All
bottles are secured with
tamper evident seal and
have a suggested
expiration date printed
on the bottle. All of my
tinctures are made with
either local organic
products or organic
products from a trusted
source I have been using
for several years. When
possible these are made
with fresh herbs, but
depending on the season
they may also be dry
herbs. These tinctures
are never pasteurized or
heated in any fashion
while being made and
bottled. All tinctures
are aged (steeped) for
at least 4-6 weeks for a
proper potency. These are
the same tinctures I've
given to my family and
friends for years.

has some amazing Farmers
Markets with a variety of
offerings! We
recycle whatever
materials we can, love
riding our bicycles to
get around and take
advantage of public
transit when the weather
isn't so great.
