All packages are sent by USPS Priority Mail to ensure the quickest delivery (1-3 business days) as well as, your convenience of tracking your package through USPS.com
Please be aware that shipping rates vary per item, so please be aware of what each item costs to ship. We have come up with this pricing method based on USPS shipping rates, and most times, depending on location and quantity of purchase made, we tend to under charge our customers. We are not trying to make money with our shipping costs, and we feel we are being fair in our charges.

Our products are packed as carefully as possible, but we can not be held responsible for what happens after a package is shipped, and therefore do not offer exchanges or refunds. We compost all items we possibly can to replenish our soil, which in turn gets used to grow our fruits and veggies that we use in some of our products.
The bags our products are packaged in are made of wood cellulose fiber, which are compostable and biodegradable.
We purchase as much local produce and other ingredients as we can because we support our local farmers and suppliers. We also like it when our ingredients don't have to travel great distances.
Our boxes and packing materials are repurposed. We pick-up used boxes from local businesses and reuse them. So, if you order something from us and receive an 'Amazon.com' box, it's ok, it's just your treats from The Greenwood Kitchen. And for our packing material, we use reused newspaper!
